How do you feel about the station's format of news and talk shows? It's good to have another radio station with the same format in the Mobile area, but with more variety.
The station's syndicated programs I hear when I have the chance are "The Kim Komando Show", "The Other Side", and "Science Fantastic". "Leo Laporte the Tech Guy" would be a great addition to the station, since WAVH-FM currently has reruns of "The Neal Boortz Show" and "The Clark Howard Show" scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. "The Jolene Roxbury Variety Hour", a local program currently scheduled for the 1:00 PM timeslot on Saturdays and Sundays, could air after "Leo Laporte the Tech Guy", which airs live between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM Central time.
In addition to local TV news on weekdays, I usually listen to "Mobile Mornings" (it may not be the official name, as it was mentioned a few times) with Sean Sullivan and Wayne Gardner on WAVH-FM and it can be very interesting and entertaining sometimes, but I wish the hosts were much nicer (no name calling or mockery), pleasant (control anger), and professional (no slurred speech during sports reports), as I'm concerned for the listeners who are just passing through the broadcast area. This area needs better representation on local radio programs.
