I shouldn't complain about the station with the best music in Charlotte, at least during the daylight hours and after Bill Bennett, but there are a couple of things they could do better.
I wonder if it's on both stations that the music gets interrupted for a fraction of a second. One day it seemed to be happening all too often. I wonder if that's a glitch in relaying the signal from the studios to the transmitter, or something else. The sound quality is otherwise excellent.
Also, yesterday they started a new song with five seconds to go before the news break. Really? They couldn't time it better than that? There must be some way of making the station ID longer if it's that close. And of course, the song before the news break always seems to get cut off in the middle. There must be some way to schedule the songs so they can have a shorter one if neeed be. Or a longer one; one time I heard the "album version" of Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing".
They seem to air more commercials than they did, which is good news. Hardly ever anything local, but it's a start.
