waxq vs wmgk

How would you compare these two Classic Rock station formats, is MGK a bit softer with a smallar playlist or the other way around. I never listened to waxq so I really cannot compare...
 
...I would imagine WAXQ would have a broader playlist, due to the fact there is no other Rock outlet in the city, so they can play all brands of Rock, from Metal to Alternative to Hard Rock. Whereas, WMGK has co-owned WMMR, which plays harder Rock and Alternative WRFF to contend with, so they are boxed in as how much Metal, Alternative and hard Rock they can play.
 
WAXQ plays the same tired music they have been playing since 1996. The playlist is still the same. You would think they would add some 90's alternative tracks like the way WPLR in New Haven CT did.
