Way To Insult A Listener, RXP

This morning in the 8 AM hour, I heard Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram take a call from a listener named Mike, who said he and his wife Melissa were celebrating a wedding anniversary today. Matt tells them that he is dedicating a song to them on their special day... a song titled "Freak Of The Week."

Last one out at RXP, hit the lights, please.

I don't get what's so inappropiate about this? Maybe, he just wanted to be funny instead of being boring?? It made me laugh. :D Maybe you guys should stick to NPR and hear about why using plastic bottles are bad...

I agree with musicfan101. If you call into a modern rock morning show with some schmaltzy dedication like that, you either expect them to have some fun with you or you’re a tad naive. It’s nice to see the station doing something slightly provocative.

Way to stay classy and mature RXP! :D

Just like back in the 80s Hartford "shock jock" Sebastian used to do "Be-rate the Brides" in a segment called "Dog of the Day".

That was a great bit, until he hads to end it after an IRS agent sued him after "winning" one week.
