Wayne, Pete, and Kimmer

I just went to kimmer's old web site, and saw a headline that reads-
Wayne, Pete, and Kimmer coming back soon! Anyone know what this means or any more about this?

I would reckon it means that Kimmer wasn't smart enough to register his own domain and someone else owns it. What do you reckon?

Registrant:
kim peterson

So he owns it but the registrant address is none other than the building of death.
This will be interesting to keep tabs on and see what happens.

I don't know, but it sounds like a threat to me.

So in other words he DOESN'T own it. The "building of death" (whatever the hell that is) owns it. Jeff Burton made the same mistake when he drove for Roush. Neal Boortz didn't make that mistake. But then maybe Neal is brighter than the "Kimmer" (semper fi).................

EDIT: Oh, and merry christmas.

Physical address means nothing to a website. It's all about "cyber" address which in this case he doesn't seem to own because he either wasn't smart enough or didn't want to pay the buck fifty to do so. Welcome to the next century and cyber world. It's not really hard to keep up.

You'll need to explain that last post in small words. Peterson is listed as the owner. If he registers it annually, he will likely register it from his office, as opposed to his home. Since they dropped him fairly recently, it's a fair bet he last registered it when his address and employment were there. He can change it next time he reregisters.

Of course he owns it. It is very common for people to list a work address. Its no big deal.

So (semper fi) he just chooses not to update it? Semper fi, I mean cool. Folks take different paths. Someone canned my ass right before Christmas and I might have a thing or two to say on MY website. But then if I worked for a radio staion in a major market that had a signal that reaches four square blocks I might figure no one realy cares. And in truth, no one really does. Semper Fi.

It's a different dynamic. Every jock is/was fired the day he was hired, the pink slip just hasn't been dated yet. Unlike many industries, there's no stigma in being fired, per se. As long as you didnt get bagged for stealing, being drunk, or molesting little children, employers pretty much accept the old 'philosophical differences' and don't worry. It might weel be, the guy doesn't want to alienate prosepctive employers by barbecueing the last one.
As an aside, you appear to have a fixation on Marines. Are you sure that's healthy?

In this business if you've never been fired... you've never really had any fun! Do you think that the fact that he has over a year on his contract and will be getting regular pay checks from CC might have something to do with it? How about that the release papers they have you sign says that if you are negative toward CC or your previous bosses during that time the paychecks can stop? It amazes me that some of you just think that once someone gets let go they should go public and really tear CC apart. Trust me they are smarter than that. The ones you've seen doing it here just didn't have a contract that kept paying them... or they are independently rich and don't need or want the money. Or, of course, they are just plain stupid.

Good point, (the not alienating thing). Semper Fi. Sorry the reference flies over your head. For some reason I thought, Semper Fi, we were "speaking" about the same, Semper fi, guy, the Semper Fi, Kimmer. Or is my, Semper Fi, use of Semper Fi something you find rather tedious? Well Semper Fi then, we agree. I Smeper Fi, found it's over use by Semper Fi, The Kimmer, rather, Semper Fi, tedious myself. Are the any other, Semper Fi, false illutions you have that I can, Semper Fi, dis abuse you of? Well if not then do a dynamic PLF, sound off with a loud and thunderous "AIRBORNE" and move out smartly. Oh wait, I asked too much. LOL move out in the same befuddled manner you moved in at.

Oh, and Semper Fi.

Oh (part two): Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Oh OK... the guy was a May Rine. Suave. Takes a whilke for it to sink in, does it? I had an excellent Christmas. Yourself? No illusions atall.

What up with this? The only info I can find is the "coming back soon" message on Kimmer's site and this quote from Pete Davis on his site:

"If I've learned one thing in the past year it's to never talk about 'ifs' and works in progress. We appreciate all the talk about what may happen and hopefully something cool will happen soon for Kimmer, Wayne and myself."

I thought Kimmer was still under contract with CC, which would put him out of action for at least six months if the contract was terminated. Is CC going to bring him back along with Pete and Wayne? Does anybody have anything on this?
