WAYZ's Bob Steele great numbers, why Tiny & Whiny?

As mentioned earlier, Bob Steele has outstanding morning numbers in just released Spring Hagerstown-Chambersburg-Waynesboro ARB. Why then take him off mornings and put those two droning amateurs, Tiny and Whiny on? Wouldn't want to be in their shoes when the Fall numbers come out.
 
Why? Because Tiny and Katy represent the new younger demo that country is trying to bring in. This is becoming the norm in all formats. Country stations are concerned about listeners aging out of the demo. Since we only see the 12+ numbers on this site, it's hard to tell how Bob did in the 25-54 or other demos. I'm assuming he did well. My guess is that WAYZ....or some age obsessed consultant went into panic mode and decided a "younger" morning show was needed. I don't think Tiny and Katy need to worry about the fall numbers because I think WAYZ will stand on it's own due to the nature of the market. Country is hot in that market and WAYZ has a strong signal. It desn't really matter who's on when. They should make Bob Steele the PD. He has the background. If Bob leaves, they'll find a young eager type to fill that slot. Maybe not better....but young, eager, and willing to work long hours for less money. Meanwhile...take a good whiff of that fresh new country air and pour me another cup of Trucker Dave's coffee!
 
Somebody (non-radio person) in Waynesboro mentioned that Steele was now doing mornings on 92.1/Legends (and maybe voicetracking a later shift on WAYZ)?

Is that true? Not a terrible idea to put a live human being on that thing--92.1 has done pretty well for what is basically a computer in a closet...
 
Stations have been known to throw out talented personalities for the sake of trying to shift the demo. Many times it proves to be a mistake.

How about giving a pro the opportunity to adapt to what management wants? I'd certainly be willing to place my bet on a well liked seasoned pro over a couple of newbies.

Let's call a spade a spade and say what this really is.....$$$$$$$$$$$
 
I read that Bob was nominated by the Country Radio Broadcasters for induction into the Country Radio Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Nashville. How about Tiny and company?
 
Bob is back on mornings Thursday and Friday for vacationing Tiny and Katy. He was taking calls from listeners who want him back on mornings. I wonder if management will order him to stop airing those calls. The listeners that I heard all sounded like adults so they will probably be discounted. Only Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift fans need apply!
 
Put BOB back in the morning im ready to change stations tiny & Whiny was so so in the eve but I miss Bob in the morning .Also cut back on the Taylor Swift I have had enough.
 
It appears that WAYZ finally put a new PM drive guy on the air.....and he's a market vet. Cougar Michaels has been heard this week doing 3-7, while JD appears to have been put on nights. Cougar was the AM drive guy for several years on 106-9 THE EAGLE in Hagerstown. He also worked at WFRE and WGTY.
