Old news, the GM of MRBI Boston posted something about it not too long ago.

Did Davidzon Media run out of money? Are they going to an online platform? They have been buying time on WAZN ( which stands for ASIAN BTW and that was a corporate decision from the get go) from almost day 1, and I was there on day 1 when they got their "program authority"
As for M.O.Y.G.L. ( music of your Grandmothers life), I don't know if (I assume it is ) StarVista was buying time, or providing it for free in exchange for the content.
Before M.O.Y.G.L. it was pretty much a simulcast of WLYN when the Russians were not on in recent years.
You have to remember M.R.B.I. is owned by people of Chinese origin. At one point they were simulcasting one of MRBI's Chinese language stations out of NYC in the non Davidzon Media hours... ( Davidzon was buying 6A to 6P at one point IIRC)
When I was there and there was a rather tall Chinese NBA player, we were running NBA games in one of the Chinese dialects.
SO for them to run Chinese, and I assume it is a simulcast is not a surprise, what is a surprise is that the Russians have walked away after a decade of buying time.
WAZN's signal does very well in Quincy, where there is a large Chinese population.
I'm sure the man that has all the answers, (but may not be able to tell us all of them as it might compromise his business plans or strategy) Jeff K . will be along shortly to give hard facts, where I am merely speculating.
