Hmm...weird how my post never appeared on the board. Maybe it'll pop up later or something. lol
Anyway, like I said in the phantom post, I'm certain there is more to the story than her just walking in to do the morning show wearing a Purdue sweatshirt. If not, radio has hit a new low for getting rid of someone. Even if the station was still owned by Notre Dame, I doubt that anything like that would happen.
I would speculate that she either didn't get along with management (isn't the morning host the PD for U93?) or she just simply went up there to fill-in as co-host until they found a replacement for the morning show. According to the U 93 website, Lindsay is the new co-host. They hired her awfully quick if Steph was in and out the door in only two weeks. In the mean time, this gives Steph an extra push on WAZY and possibly even a little bit of a spike for the morning show on both stations in the Arbs. Afterall, the book is in full swing.
Regardless of what did or didn't happen, at least Gavin Todd has someone perminent to chat with during the morning show on WAZY.
