WB 33 Norfolk : UPN Richmond - 'THE CW'

I know not radio but interesting....

So what kind of programming should WB 33 do? Well they aim for younger audience's or older? And what are they going to be called......maybe they can play older WB shows that are not are the air anymore ???

ex- Dawson's Creek

There is alot of work to do over at WB 33.....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Richmond viewers are happy that they FINALLY get WB programming in primetime and not at 2am on NBC 12.....but what will NBC 12 do with their night time slot?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And why the crapping name like 'The CW'
How about CWB ? or something else but 'The CW'
My opinion I do not like it

I think Sinclair will try to sell the station or shut it down. With out an network affilation they are DOOMED!. What I like to see is Belo buy the station put on a 10pm newscast and try to take FOX back from WVBT/LIN.

I hate it!. WGNT should just go back to being "Channel 27" or "TV-27", it sounds better then "CW-27".<P ID="signature">______________

I dunno why, but when I think of "The CW", I think of a nightclub

Imagine on 106-5 the BEAT:

"Tonight at the 804's hottest club, the CW, is DJ ____. Yes, only at the CW, located next to the dump known as Southpark Mall...remember, ladies have no cover charge Fridays at the CW, where you must be 18 to dip, 21 to sip, next to the Southpark mall Colonial Heights...Ricccccccccccccchhhhhhhmond!"<P ID="signature">______________

I agree, I think Sinclair will try to sell WTVZ. It was iffy if they wanted to keep it in the first place (a station all by itself), but now an Independent all by itself? I find it highly unlikely Sinclair will keep it now.

I would like that too BUT...

WVEC has their 10pm newscast on LNC5. It doesn't get good ratings at all (since many people have sattelite, and many people like me live in areas that aren't COX). They should cancel it and produce a 10pm like WCAU in Philadelphia does with WPHL- the downside to that is that if Sinclair still owns it, we would have to have "The Point".

WTKR had a newscast on WGNT back in the 90's. It didn't last long. Was it pulled because of ratings?

LNC5's ratings are poor plus "poor" distribution (only thru Cox). Interestingly, Cox/The V-P/WVEC hasn't pulled the plug yet...
