Any truth to the rumor that Ed Ansin will also be losing his affiliation with the CW. I've heard since the CW is, in part, owned by CBS that CBS Boston plans to take it in-house and have the programming on TV 38.

Not clear, although it's been noted that the CW would move from WLVI to WHDH/channel 7, should WHDH lose their court case against NBC over losing the NBC affiliation at the start of next year. Nothing is set in concrete at this point. The legal dust must settle first.

I read somewhere that if WHDH would lose NBC that it would be a news-focused independent station rather than the CW. Then again, WSBK could grab the CW affiliate if it is up for renewal. My Network TV would go to WLVI or if Ansin really wanted to, have MNTV on channel 7.
