WBAB's 5 min of Dead air during Roger & JP

Sounded like the automation crashed this morning around 7:20. can someone shed some light? They came back on with an air break and did not talk about the dead air. Proof of voice tracking in place? I am surprised a dead air carrier alarm would not go off or did it?

it was silent not static. Maybe an STL but if they were live, one would think they would have mentioned it on air like whoops sorry about the dead air
