WBACH 107.7 Bar Harbor has flipped.

Scanning the dial tonight I heard the simulcast of 104.7 on 107.7, when did the switch take place? I didn't think it was until the first of the year.
Merry Christmas all.

107.7 went to Binnie who spun it to Blueberry

The flip happend the day the deal with the rest of the Nassau stations went down.

The "end of the year" is when 104.3 WABK joins the 104.7/107.7 simulcast making it the FOURTH Blueberry group of stations heard on 3 or more signals.

Perhaps Rod or someone down that way can enlighten me...I always thought 104.7 (Belfast) covered that area quite well already. Does this truly expand the coverage of that format?

Probably not for MDI itself. Much like 97.1 covers a large geographic area including MDI, their 99.1 frequency goes further downeast, I'm sure their thinking is along the same line.

104.7 does come in quite well on most of MDI, but with 107.7 their signal will go down almost to the Canadian border.
