WBAI is off the air tonight

nd2023

I hear a faint trace of WJBR on 99.5. Also, none of the NYC stations are in HD tonight.
Hopefully WBAI stays off for weeks.

You would probably hear WRVE if you were up in Northern Rockland County.....Up near Haverstraw on top of the hill I used to be able to get a very weak signal of WPYX 106.5.

This just in... WBAI off air and Arbitron ratings have increased

Good one, WNTI !! 'INcreased ratings' !

In WBAI's absence, some fortunate folks might get WJBR -- that AC station from Wilmington DE.

For decades they have been doing their AC stuff. When I worked at two AC's in Philly, I thought WJBR sounded better than WE major market pork chops sounded.

WJBR punctually shows up in the Philadelphia book.

I remember when WQXR signed off the air for a few hours on early Monday mornings at its old 96.3 position; during the summer, you could hear Cape Cod AC station WRZE/96.3 The Rose (which today is a simulcast of WEEI).

Way back in time, many AM's would shut down Monday morns between 2am and 5am.
My best distance to power ratio from Miami Beach remains to this day, WGBB, while they were still ¼KW.

WRZE-FM was CHR.
