WBAL streaming problem

Since last Friday WBAL won't stream on my internet radio (does work on my computer). Does anyone know if they have recently changed the system so that it won't work with internet radios (like Clear Channel)? And, by the way, why would any station want to block listening of any kind?

Try this link for the pop-up Flash Player from streamtheworld.com: http://www.wbal.com/listen/live.asp

Also, link to copy/paste & plug-in to Winamp/iTunes/VLC media players "Play URL"/"Open Audio Stream"/"Play Audio from Clipboard" (or similar) dialog box:

http://2773.live.streamtheworld.com:80/WBALAMAACCMP3

Link to reciva.com's page for WBAL-AM-1090: https://www.reciva.com/stations/sea...codec=&min_bitrate=&max_bitrate=&working=true

I can't get it to work/download quickly enough for other media players such as Windows Media, Jet Audio, Real Audio, Quick Time, etc.

I reckon WBAL was using another streaming outlet before joining StreamTheWorld. I notice more and more stations are jumping on board the STW bandwagon. I wonder if Streamaudio and the other Internet radio streaming pioneers will be around by 2012...
