KMKI used to come in pretty good in Wichita, KS During the Day. Not sure if it still does with its IBOC.

How far does "The Crow" fly?

When 620 was KAAM they had a promo that said they could be heard from (I think it was Waco, TX) to Liberal Kansas.

About 1,000 feet in certain directions. about 500-800 for the rest
Clear Stereo is probably up to 500-600 feet in some directions. about 300-500 for the rest.

And if only they could have sold in Waco and Liberal and all the towns and cities in between.

KOMA, despite its great signal to the western U.S., rarely beat WKY in the ratings in all the time that both stations were top-40.

In fact, WKY with 5,000 watts non-directional at 930, had a better signal in much of Oklahoma City than KOMA.

Proving, I guess, that sometimes less ... is more.
