WBAP Delay

Even though all the hype is on CC and SUNNY right now, I want to make a brief point about the broadcasting tendencies of WBAP. Why do they delay Limbaugh and Hannity one hour?? I realize that they want the 12-3 and 3-6 timing because they draw more ratings, but this makes it much harder, and almost impossible, for listeners to call in to those shows. I do not listen to those shows much, and I certainly dont agree with their agendas, but I still want to know what is the logic behind this decision. I believe there are more drawbacks then plusses. What do yall think??

Even in talk radio, at the most 2% of your audience calls in. So typically, the hour tape delay doesn't matter. If your P&K, all 2 people listening to you shout out to Del Frisco's for the free food you enjoyed last night call in.<P ID="signature">______________

You must be new to this market; originally, both
those programs you mention above were delayed
TWO hours, as they were simply put into the
existing line up after Davis and "Hello Texas"
when Limbaugh and Hannity became popular.

Used to be:

9 - 12 Mark Davis
12 - 1 Hello Texas
1 - 4 Limbaugh
etc

_Jim
