The morning show have been let go at WBAP this morning

Incorrect. Only a couple of people who were part of the morning show are reportedly no longer with the station.

Where are Steve Lamb and Nicole Osei on WBAP?

Steve Lamb has not been in his usual 820 WBAP Morning News Dallas—Fort Worth (93.3FM) sports director chair in weeks, and there are lots of questions

WBAP came in at #25 in the latest ratings. This was during election season! And remember, WBAP is on both AM 820 and FM 93.3. Maybe it can't afford a seven person morning show anymore.

Even worse was KRLD 1080. That was #31. OK, it did make some changes in its weekday schedule. The All-News format is restricted to AM and PM Drive now, no more middays.

But unlike some Sunbelt markets where it seems folks only want to hear music on their radios, Dallas has Sports Radio KTCK-AM-FM at #1 and NPR member station KERA-FM at #4.

I haven’t heard newswoman
Nicole Osay (spelling?) in weeks either. Meteorologist Brad Barton was off for 2 or 3 weeks, but is back now. Wonder how long this morning show will survive.

Such a shame. but it appears some radio folks float and some don't.

The same one floated to the top. They will stay there a little more.
