Why is $60,000 or even less so terrible for a nighttime talk-show host?

(one S and two Ps -- disappointing)
Why is $60,000 or even $40,000 so horrible for a talk show host?
Free market. If Gold will take it, why offer more?
Teachers make less, and who contributes more?
Yeah, I know. I know.
But not bad for two hours work and reading a bunch of right-wing newspapers and magazines.
And who really cares? 95 percent of people with radios on then are NOT listening to WBAP and David Gold.
But you are right about Levin. A trained parrot could not as well.
He is just horrible ... or worse.
