For almost the last 10 years WBBJ 7 in Jackson had only used Me TV for filler on 7.3 during non-CBS or local news times and if viewers wanted to see Me TV they had to try to get it from WLMT 30 in Memphis and the signal was sporadic. As of Monday WBBJ has finally put Me TV on to a full subchannel on 7.4. Along with that CBS 7.3 has gone to carrying other syndicated programs.
For years WBBJ claimed they didn't have enough bandwidth to add Me TV as a third subchannel. I don't know if they were finally able to change the bandwidths for ABC and CBS, or if Me TV finally put pressure on them to make a full time channel or face losing it but they finally did it, even though it took them WAY too long.
