WBBM Chicago received in Port aux Basques, NL, Canada

I want to confirm that I did pick up WWZN 1510 Boston just now. (4:45 PM EST/6:15 PM NST)

It gets dark in Newfoundland before anywhere else in North America.

I'm also trying to confirm that the neighbouring 1520 frequency is WWKB Buffalo. (EDIT: It is.) I had picked up 1520 years ago on a night when no local radio was available -- possibly storm-related. I think they were playing music back then. (Further Edit: While hearing a few more minutes before resting my left arm, having held the walkman as far as I could while sitting in front of the keyboard, I heard the mention of Carrie Underwood getting engaged. I'm sure that bit of news is being discussed in other areas of the forum.)

Now, to see if I can get WRKO or anything else from Boston.

And on Saturday night, I heard Christmas music on either 750 or 760. I couldn't keep the signal long enough to confirm which frequency and where.

One final edit: I did pick up bits and pieces of the New Jersey Devils' games on Friday and Saturday night on WFAN 66 while watching other games on TV. I even heard Atlanta's goal horn go off when the Thrashers managed to get to within one (but ended up losing 5-4 to an inspired Devils team that just didn't quit after changing goalies between periods.)

The null doesn't stop their reception in Europe as many people have reported hearing WBZ, especially in the UK.

I've never picked up 'BZ on my own in Europe....but one night about three years ago I was on radio tuners and it was blasting in on the receiver I was using....situated in southwest England. (The other American pounding in that night was WBBR).
