WBBM Heard in Issaquah (Seattle) Washington

This evening (11-24-08 9:05 PST) I picked up Newsradio 780 WBBM on my Realistic AM-FM Headset.
THe signal overpowered KKOH (Reno) I head a brief traffic report about an incident on I-65 and then the ID and time.
I also picked up the signal a little later (mixed with KKOH) at about 9:40 PM. I tried other Chicago stations but was unsuccessful 670 - Boise; 720 picked up bleed-over from 710 KIRO; and 890 bleed-over from 880 KIXI.

Awesome! That's quite the longball DX catch there. The best i've done is KTNN (660 Window Rock, AZ) and KMTI's (650 Manti, UT) '07 DX test. I live in Coldwater, MI.

I read on a DX board where a guy just west of Chicago frequently hears KOMO with WMVP nulled. KKOH and KOMO reception is probably impossible here as WBBM and WMVP are just too strong, plus, my radio would have to be pointed practically right at Chicago to have my best shot at those stations. Hopefully both stations have transmitter maintenance planned soon. :)

AWESOME!!!!!! That's the DX I want someday, because with all the packed stations you really got a once in a year catch.
AND THE DISTANCE IS 1700 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU REALLY GOT ONE HUGE CATCH!!!
MMMMMWWWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! :-* :-*
