WBBM on 670?

(This may have been discussed before, but new to me.)

This morning about 6:50ET I was DXing from north Georgia with my dial set to 670 when I heard "WBBM 780". So I looked at my dial again and it was indeed set to 670.

I immediately flipped to 780 which was broadcasting something entirely different, so I flipped back to 670, which was taken over by a spanish station for a couple of minutes. When the english returned, it was talking sports with Mark somebody.

It was as if 670 was broadcasting a news story from WBBM and left its call letters in the story.

Does 670 and 780 have some kind of agreement? Thanx for your help.

They're both owned by CBS.
