From WBBQ Facebook page.....
"Our hearts are heavy and our heads are low, with the news of the passing of a WBBQ legend, Charlie Foxx.
Charlie dominated the WBBQ nighttime airwaves for many years, and it goes without saying they'll never be
another one like him. Here's to Charlie, Buddy Carr and Dickie Shannon hanging out together again.
You'll be missed."
I grew up in the 80's listening to his night show. Def a great energy. He started his show off every night with
the Lone Ranger theme and the famous tagline, "sufferin' succotash, I'm on the radio!"
Good times for sure. R.I.P. - Charlie Foxx
