WBBQ IN Augusta Already has A Holiday Themed Website! Clear Chanell Station

WBBQ AN AC Station in Augusta Owned by Clear Chanell they already havce A Holiday Theme in Their Website www.wbbq.com When Will 94.9 Lite Step up to the Game and Change their Website theme and When do you think 94.9 Will Start their Christmas Music Sneek Peeks. Just so you know last year WBBQ Started all Christmas Music 24/7 in the Beginning of November?? Also,Do you think B98.5FM Might Start Earlier this year or you think they Might do the Sneek Peeks that 94.9 LiteFM Always Does?

This station also believes that the whole city will break into riots if they ever pulled the Delilah show (after, how many years?).......their probably right!

And the only AC I know where they may play ONE current song in a week and apparently feels that Augusta MUST hear James Taylor's "You've Got A Friend" and Bill Wither's "Lean On Me" 40 OR MORE TIMES A DAY!!!

Heard of WLTM 94.9 Lite FM here in Atlanta, a sister Clear Channel AC? They do the exact same thing, only with more out-of-town voicetracking.

In Augusta, WBBQ killed their competition of (WHHD 98.1 used to be AC WSLT).
 
But then, the new HD-98.3 (Beasley Broadcsting) and did the smartest move ever......bringing back a TOP-40 format to Augusta. Something that Clear Channel dumped back in 2004.

Yeah, I was on WBBQ and WZNY back in '98-99. They were Cumulus then. I hated it when I went back and the second largest city in the state of Georgia thought that the only music people wanted to listen to was Hip-hop, classic rock, adult contempory, or country. I'm glad Beasley made the flip. Besides, they have "The Drive" that's pretty much their AC station.

Actually, I grew up during the days when WBBQ was CHR/Top 40 and they had mobile news with the "prize patrol". Makes me yearn for the good 'ol days :'(
 
Holiday Music? are they playing something other than Christmas music? Hannakah music? Kwanzza music? maybe Festivus music? stupid PC crap. CHRISTMAS MUSIC
