WBCN calls parked

This was mentioned on the Charlotte board a little while back and some other places; well, maybe it was the only place CBS could spare that wouldn't edge out other famed calls.
For the record, Charlotte has 2 other stations with call letters formerly used in Boston
WKKT (was on 1510/country & Bruins)
WLYT (was on 92.5, the River, as Lite 92.5)

So, add WBCN to those two.

I was telling a friend in Calif. (orig from Chicago) about the WBMX-FM calls moving to 104.1. He said when he thinks of those calls he remembers a station in Chicago (stood for B_lack M_usic e_Xperience, I think)

Yes, exactly. WBMX 102.7 was a legendary Chicago station; in 1989 it evolved into one of the first Urban AC stations as WVAZ "V103".
