Yeah but how would one know that after agreeing to come the station would not promote the appearance?...... He's the station's star, just like Howard, just like most morning shows would be even if it were a local show. This was Roth's first appearance outside of his New York studio, it would have been a huge opportunity for them to have really made points with their star. I remember the things that were done for O and A when they would come to town for a remote (albeit remotes from the BCn studios) catering like backstage at a u2 show!, a child's wading pool filled with beer brought in I actually joked one time that there was more beer in studio for O and A than there was for the entire airstaff backstage at that previous year's river rave and it was absoloutely true. They would rent a foosball table for them to play during commercial breaks, in short they were treated better than the entire airstaff was....... and why not? they were a huge draw for bcn.
Sorry I have to side with Roth on this one, it appears that he didnt get the support one would expect, NO PROMOTION as if the station wanted nothing to do with the appearance.........I dont blame him one bit.
