WBCN reunion, last night at the Paradise

What a time last night....the crew was ALL there; Charles, Ken, Mark...Tammi Heidi, Jerry Goodman, Tank, Eli Scher, Peter Wolf, Danny Schecter, Bradley J., Al Pare, Steve Copper, Carter Allen, Tracy Roach, Dave Beiber, Oedipus....and the list goes on and on....put it this way, almost everyone was there! The Stools, The Fools, Willie Alexander all played some music. This was a total radio love in.
After the nights end....the sad realization....an end of an era....a bygone time, where commercial rock radio really made "waves". It was an intrical part of a local music scene...anybody remember local music??? An end of the days where you may have said...." I've never heard that song before, but I want to buy it...now". The end of expanding ones musical knowledge, by DJ's who knew as much, if not more about music than you.

That picture of Shelton, Parenteau and Charles is great. Glad those guys still like to hang out and have a good time! I've been listening to the 4 day farewell over and over, what great radio that was.

Same w/Strick. But a lot of people traveled for this. Tami Heidie must have come out from California. Charles from Hawaii. Tom Couch from Chicago, Sandman from Cinci.

Also don't think Tony Beradini was there.

Bradley & Albert were quite present. Not sure if Juanita / Amy were, although i think i saw Juanita. LOTS of blasts from the past: Leslie Palmiter, Jim Parry .. Adam 12 & Hardy were there. . It was a long list.
