They used to, but they dropped all music pre-1964. All of Francis' major hits were pre-1964.

WJIB played "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" earlier today (in AM stereo). A number of her hits are in WJIB's rotation.

I've heard Connie's "Where The Boys Are" on WJIB, but not today. Did hear Bob Bittner play Marianne Faithful's "As Tears Go By" twice in a week. Fine by me, he can play it daily. Great song. WJIB plays some great stuff - and then there are things that are a bit TOO old - but he always comes back with a nugget to keep you listening.

His piano player, Ken Lane (on Reprise Records).

Who is Ken Lane the father of?

Boston area singer who signed to Warner Brothers years after she first appeared on Reprise on a Neil Young album. Robin Lane! Why doesn't Robin sing her dad's song? Or give a copy of herself singing it to Bob Bittner!
