I was quite surprised to learn that this station is streaming, it is kind of a low quality stream, missing sound on one side if listening with headphones but hey it sounds good on the speakers! Some of the local ads on this station are on carts that sound like they have been played too many times, but hey that is part of why I think it is cool that a smaller market AM station like this is streaming. :)

The station runs The Touch Urban AC service from Citadel.

I'm also not sure what the origin of the stream is since I can't seem to find a website for the station. I found it on Radiotime. Check it out:

They had a website which was www.wbcp1580.com but looks like it's down, I heard the stream about a month ago and stream plays out of 1 speaker and sounds like they play their commercials from either carts or cassettes. You think the people that own the station would come up with the times and update their equipment.
 
I can remember staying overnight in Champaign, IL sometime back in 1999. WBCP-AM sounded largely the same back then, low-budget operation but I enjoyed the Touch format then as now. It kind of sounds like they might be using the some of the same commercial carts 10 years later! Hope they get their website back up, they are promoting it on the air.
