WBDG (Ben Davis High School)

WBDG turns 40 today! Ben Davis High School and Wayne Township schools should be proud of the program and the alumni that have spent time on-air during high school. As an alum, I am proud to have been part of the tradition and continue to work in the business. It's not just a school station, it's more than that if you grew up in the program and the school system (especially football friday nights). I believe they are running news stories and other things that would have happened Feb 14, 1966.
Edited by radioguy80 on 02/14/06 03:42 PM.

Did WBDG play Steppenwolf's music in the late '60s?

Thanks to my three semesters at WBDG, I found I was interested in electronics that led to a 24 year career (so far) in Electrical Engineering. It gave me the background that allowed me to work at WBAA-AM to pay some of those college bills at Purdue and currently to produce a show at KTCU-FM the past 13 years.

Much thanks to WBDG! (The Giant, Radio Spectrum B-91 and Clyde)
