For our northern folks, this is probably of interest:

WBEC-FM 105.5 which is soon moving to Easthampton, MA. just applied to move their transmitter to the top of Mt Tom with 720 watts. The signal is directional to the Southeast. Still, it will have pretty good coverage of the entire area...

Any idea when this will happen??? Any rumors on who will own and program it? OR what market they're after (adults, kids, rappers, country, etc)

Nope , None... I tend to stay away from the programming side and stick to the engineering side.

The CP was applied for within the last week though.

Wonder how long it'll take for the FCC to OK that one. Whats the usual time frame on a CP?
