Has the new WBEN morning show increased the station revenue? Does anyone have access to revenue reports from something like Miller/Kaplan or the Hunngerford Report? I'm wondering if live morning shows will make its way into the 'we play anything' JACK FM's of the world.....
 
I don't know for a fact if it's increased revenue, but I think if it didn't, they wouldn't have it. Personally, I think it's a good show. Dave Cruise is good, and I think his co-host, Jason Lee, is hysterical. I remember him from the morning show at B101. They work pretty well together. I don't know how they do in the ratings, but I enjoy what they do in the morning.
 
It has been argued by some (even on this board) that Jason Lee from B101 never worked at WPGR. But Jason Lee did work at WPGR, but not as Jason Lee. He was "Jason The Music Mason."

I wasn't positive that it was the same guy either until I heard an old PGR tape someone sent me on CD recently. Same guy. No doubt. I think he sounded even better on 1540 than he does today. (Maybe because oldies allows one to be more upbeat)
