Anyone listened to them on 970 lately? The audio is just awful!
Sounds like robots speaking from the bottom of a 55 gallon oil drum.
Whenever there is any dead air during speech the audio level drops down to nothing.
Either the suppression is kicked up to 11 or they are using that new European technology
that actually reduces the transmitter power during moments of non-modulation.
Whatever, it is painful to listen to. Particularly live sporting events, which all sound as if
they are taking place in empty stadiums and arenas.
I suppose they are only interested in having this as a placeholder to have 106.3.
