I was in Wilkes-Barre on April 28th. The Subway restaurant off of Public Square had WBHT-FM on as I walked in. I still checked WKRZ-FM 98.5 at that point, seeing as it's still the only station from that market I'm somewhat familiar with (I live in central Connecticut). Speaking of satellite stations and what not, does WBHT-FM 97.1 have one? You can thank WKRZ-FM for having their satellite station on 107.9 for the Stroudsburg/Delaware Water Gap area (as to why I started listening to them first). Coming into the S/W-B area for the first time in June of 2004, I really didn't know any of the stations in the market. I tuned my Sony Walkman from the "top" of the dial along I-80 westbound in New Jersey (I always start at the "top" like that if I don't know the area) and the 107.9 satellite was the first thing I heard. I then heard Kelley K, already knowing who she was from her days in Hartford (WZMX-FM 93.7) and I decided to leave it until I heard the station ID.A quick follow-up question...was the 107.9 FM satellite station ever used by another station or has it always been with WKRZ-FM 98.5?
