Someone in Atlanta who knows absolutely nothing about this area. We are talking about a Cumulus station here...or maybe BHT will just pot up the bird. And congrats to A.J. for flipping those cheap bastards the bird!

As for KRZ...who says Christmas can't come in April?
 
good luck aj. i also enjoyed working with you, and being your friend at citadel.. but i must say everyone who was fired, or took off on there own is much better off. these so called radio people know nothing about broadcasting. from the ceo's to the g.m... at citadel, i was made employee of the month, the plaque, the pic in the front office, the up front parking place for a month, nice right? then 2 months later i was fired.. again aj best of luck..the cowboy..
 
Glad to hear he jumped ship before they kicked him off for doing absolutely nothing wrong. My money is on WBHT dropping everything local and airing Cumulus's "Today's Best Hits" satellite feed within the next year. Think about it: WSJR and WARM, 2 out of 4 cumulus stations in our market are already "canned" so why not add another! Hell, they may even do it to Magic 93 in the coming years.

Don't forget about how they axed the morning show on 97.9X. You know they made a mistake when people are so upset with the syndicated show that they made at least two Facebook pages advocating listeners to boycott the stations. And who can forget how on Magic 93 they fired one of the area's most well-known radio hosts right before Christmas, along with many behind-the-scenes people on all of their stations.
Best wishes to AJ. You will be missed in NEPA. Hopefully, they will allow someone local to pick up the afternoons on WBHT.
 
Corporate radio SUCKS! The best way to compete with an iPOD is to sound like one (sniff sniff smell that? It's sarcasm!) Good luck AJ. Best wishes to those you left behind.... :-\
