The FCC granted WBJX silent STA yesterday (September 14th) meaning WBJX will remain off the air until the new transmitter CP is granted and built.

Thank you for posting about WBJX going off te airwaves.

I first read about it in the El Conquistador newspaper. You can get a copy at various Spanish grocery stores in Racine, Kenosha, and Pick 'n' Save 18th and National Ave., Milwaukee (Sept 15h issue on page four.
 
It looks like they are still doing on line streaming. It's strange but they actually have two different web sites at wbjx.com and lacampeona.com. I tried them out Saturday night after I saw this thread, and they were streaming. I'm guessing they will do this while they are off the air.
