The KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Bellevue Council are Building a new FM Station on 89.7 close on the dial to WQED 89.3. The transmitter With the Power of 6400 Watts Directional, will be located Off William Flynn Highway, North East of Morain State Park. Licensed to Evans City. The Council Sponsers the Rosary on 620 WKHB , And Permotes WAOB on it's Marque. They have a Large Building on Lincoln Ave. My Questions, Will WBKC 89.7 be Heard in the Pittsburgh Area? Will WQED Override it? Are The Studios going to be in their Bellevue Building? I read they are going to carry some ETWN Programs.This will Make 9 Radio Stations in the Market Fulltime Religious.
 
It will be a Butler area station, the directional antenna used will send most of the signal NE~SW, away from WQED.
 
from the pattern it looks as if this station is intended to broadcast The Rosary
to Butler AND Slippery Rock.
 
WQED may not override it. WQEJ-Johnstown will south and east of the city. I have no doubt the Knights will carry EWTN. This clearly isn't WAOB, nor would I expect a return of Relevant Radio.
