I haven't been to Buffalo in a while, but I remember WBLK used to have a "Jazz at 45" segment: a jazz song every hour on the hour are :45 past the hour. Does anyone know if they still do it? I thought it was a great idea. I'd love to see that on more stations. It's a good idea for markets with UC/ UAC stations but lacking Jazz outlets.

They used to, but it looks like WBLK is more in line of what you would expect in a regular R&B/Hip-Hop station.

In Dallas-Fort Worth I remember when the old KNOK/KDLZ-107.5 (Now Smooth Jazz KOAI-The Oasis) use to do a Jazz at 45 segment playing a Jazz cut every hour when the station was Urban AC. I thought KNOK/KDLZ were the ones that started that I didn't know WBLK did that as well. Any other stations do anything similiar to that back in the day?
