WBLS and WWRL airchecks from the 90s

No what would be great? to hear air checks of WWRL from the 60's....

Thanks a lot! I used to listened to WWRL back around 1997 or 1998 when it was an urban oldies station right before it went to a talk format as well as a liberal talk format from the now defunct Air America until it finally pulled the plug back in January.

We shall see if WWRL fails, maybe they should back to urban oldies after over 10 years of it's existence. Bring back Rob Law and the "Midday Magic" show as well as nothing but "100% Pure Soul". WWRL, forget the talk station and bring the music back where it belongs!

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that WWRL sounded really good in the late 90s era.

Incidentally, both of these stations have been nominated for Marconis for best Urban and Religious stations of the year...
