WBLS' WENDY WILLIAMS IS IN HOT WATER !!!!

Perhaps my prayers will be answered and she'll be taken out of syndication. The Wendy Williams Experience from Hell is one of the worst things on the radio! Absolutely unlistenable. Compared with her wreck, even Michael Baisden sounds awesome! :p

Without it, maybe our local urban contemporary station (Power 99) would go back to playing MUSIC and I can resume listening to it.

i hope they canned wendy willams show she is a drama queen who likes to stir up trouble thank god shes not on in portland oregon

Agreed. Wendy Williams is, as you would put it on the Chicago board, the "wosr".

...when I think of the true reason for syndicated radio shows/and how it should be a source of informative and helpful solutions for we the consumers/it makes it more evident that someone like Wendy Williams....who's main purpose in life seems to be that of a negative source...will one day have to face the music....karma will revisit you one day and bite you in the ass...hence all of the problems she is now facing...

Shes a good example of the one of many no talents that are plaguing FM radio today!
Fm stations should dump her pronto and get back to playing music ,so they can compete with ipods and sattelite radio. As for Wendy Williams = nobodys listening....And you know what that means ,lower ratings.

The only good thing that came out of Clear Channel blowing up Power 104.1 in Hartford back in October is that it meant no more Wendy Williams. And I DO NOT believe for one second that the station received thousands of phone calls complaining about no more Wendy Williams as the CC spokesman was quoted in the paper as saying.

If they got "thousands of calls" about Wendy Williams, I'm sure they were made to thank Clear Channel for cleaning the radio dial of one of radio's worst shows! What a bunch of liars they are! They're just covering their butts because the syndication was a corporate decision and was not based on any research that the show would work in Hartford (just as it doesn't work in most places).

If anything, WW led to the demise of Power 104 because people got used to not listening during the afternoons. I have relatives in the Hartford area who are in High School and college who really liked the music on Power 104 (better than Hot), but absolutely hated hearing WW in the afternoon. They'd punch out to 93.7 and never come back. That gave Hot 93.7 yet another advantage, which eventually crushed Power.

If you look at the station's ratings, they started really trending downward when Wendy's audio pollution began on Power 104. For that matter, look at any station aside from WBLS that carries this mess and see what the ratings are like. Sure, her show is cheap - but it also dents other dayparts.

Basically, her show stinks and it would be good riddance if she were off the air!
