Hello.

WBMX.COM has added Herb Kent's Steppers Set Channel and added full imaging to our Jammin' Oldies channel. We're building an all Chicago property dedicated to preserving all that radio has left out as well as maintaining Chicago's history and heritage of great radio.

The Saturday Night Live Ain' No Jive channel is as close as going back in time that you can get. Thirsty Whale and Medusa pay tribute to the music heard at those legendary clubs as well.

Our 1club.fm property should satisfy anyone into oldies, rock, blues, jazz or club oriented music.

Anytime we update things or add features to the site we'll post them on our myspace page and on our website on our website update page.

Thanks!

No dis to Herb, but was he a part of the WBMX legacy? I remember Great Golden Grooves, but I dont remember Herb being a part of that.....

While we're on the subject, I wish there was a place where we could hear stuff like WAAF, WGES and "Big Bill Hill" on WOPA; very vintage Afro-American from the late 50's and early 60's.

If we could our hands on some of that we'd probably feature it.
