What's slated to go on their HD-2? I thought I read somewhere awhile back that it may be all-80's music when they finally get it going.

Apparently they were testing. The HD was gone Sunday.

Haven't heard about the all 80s format...http://www.hdradioboston.com lists an all 80's choice (with no link listed) but they also list a 50s-60s Oldies ...(103.3 maybe?)

The HD signal was back this afternoon on WBMX (98.5). I did notice that both the analog and digital audio were not yet in sync (about an 8 second lagtime). I'm sure that will change in time. I'm sure that since both WBMX and WODS are diplexed with each other, it's just a matter of time before 103.3 fires up the HD. Hopefully, the pre-Beatles oldies will be on there on the HD2 as well. We shall see. Finally, something different in HD2 on 103.3 .

I notice that with the HD on 98.5, the RDS is now off. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. I've also noticed that 103.3's RDS hasn't been showing song titles for a couple months now.

Peter, WBMX is on the ERI master antenna at the top of the tower, WODS has a side mounted 4 bay Jampro Penetrator for analog. How they are doing IBOC I'm
not sure. Iam under the impression that the ERI master has to undergo some rework as was done on the 99.5 antenna before the former WKLB added IBOC.

It is possible that a seperate WBMX/WODS antenna has been installed lower on the tower for joint IBOC use.
