WBNS FM....... ????'s

I noticed the last several Friday nights that the 80's Mix has not been on.

Also, Today, I heard promos of the return of Matt Harris and Romona Holloway to 97.1.

They will be on in the Evenings. Opinions of a Morning show in the Evenings Please??

Does this mean someone is leaving the station??

Matt and Romona; they are syndicated out of Charlotte, last I heard them... Mix 105.9 in New Lexington currently airs them.

If I am not mistaken, Matt (Harris) and Ramona (Holloway) are both alumni members of Nationwide Communications, Inc.'s culture of "Only The Best People," and currently in afternoons on their home station in Charlotte, NC.

Old lapel pins optional at the reunion.

(former flagship station employees will understand the unconventional capitalization.)

Kinda smells like counter programming vs. Delilah. Time for the syndication pissing match. Round 1 goes to 97.1 before the match even starts because of AK.

I listened to the first 15 minutes or so... lots of talk about Ramona's mom, and her....(cough) backup? Not to mention the medicine(s) she'd been given to help alleviate the problem? Very Morning Zoo-esque. Did someone mention this came from a "family-friendly" station?

Steve Berger wouldn't know who the best people were if they were naked point blank in front of him. What a crock THAT corporate culture marketing was. Gets my award for Biggest Snake Oil Salesman Ever To Climb A Corporate Ladder (Pre-Telecom Act 1996 Era).

Actually Matt and Ramona is a really good show. I hear that they will be launching on 2-3 more stations in Ohio by the end of 2008 first part of 09. Candy and Potter is supposed to be a pilot show on a station in North West Ohio at night soon too.

NOW NOW.....steve was simply working as a way to fund his antique collection...... ;) ;D

as for matt and ramona......their charlotte station "the link" is very good over all.....if you travel down to the carolinas at all you can listen as you drive through charlotte.....
