Pretty straight forward, organized schedule.

Talk shows in the morning, court shows during the day, sitcoms evenings/nights, and cop shows late nights.

Weekends are loaded too with movies and the top shelf syndicated stuff.

Just as an aside, 55 now not only has longtime station fixture "Everybody Loves Raymond", but series from prominent "Raymond" alumni Brad Garrett ("Til Death") and the pride of Bay Village Patricia Heaton ("The Middle").

SO of all of the shows that are leaving WBNX what ones are no longer offered in local broadcast syndication, and which ones are changing channels. Frasier, Law and Order CI, According to Jim, Excused, and Scrubs, are all of these leaving local broadcast syndication or are some of them just changing channels.

That really changes the syndicated outlook for the fall. It goes to show how unpredictable the local lineups can be in Cleveland. You never know what's gonna happen come fall.

WBNX though looks like they'll have a good lineup come September. Nice to see they're improving their comedy lineup to make up for the lackluster offerings they've had in recent years.

Perhaps WUAB is looking to do the same and might have seen their ratings tank after pushing most of their sitcoms to overnights. I would love to see 43 add Baggage and pickup Excused (if both are coming back).

Methinks "Jim" and "Scrubs" are no longer going to be availble in syndication. "Excused" is probably canceled. "L&O: CI" is moving to My Network TV.

"Fraiser" is what is known as a "library" show - meaning that individual stations can buy the rights to the entire show and air it at their convienence (and not part of any national syndication package), so more than likely, 55 is just giving it a rest (God knows they've been running the sprockets out of it forever).

"Excused" is probably cancelled, and I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing "Baggage" coming back.

I'd however put some credits on 43 picking up "Modern Family", as that's the big sitcom prize in this year's new crop, and since 55 didn't get it, and 8 has very little room for sitcoms, by default that means it must be going to 43.

I wouldn't be too shocked if WUAB makes a little more room for sitcoms this year and eases up (at least a bit) on their talk show block.

Jim,scrubs, and afv are gone in September.

As for frasier, it is actual on its 3rd cycle with barter episodes run full term until 2014. That is why it has such a high clearance rate as in some markets like LA it runs on 2 different stations (KCBS and KDOC).

Now another 55 show cheers, that is a library show hence the reason why it runs Sunday's at 5:30 am.

Excused is back in the fall as it was done on a 2 year deal.

BTW I thought drinking and what they did on cheers and excused was a sin so I cannot figure why a televangelist owned station would air it after all this was the station that ran buffy reruns uncut yet beeped out the word hell in 7th heaven.

If excused will return does that mean that will be moving to one of the other stations or just passed by, does anyone know? I was really surprised to see that King of the Hill and Dish Nation both moved to WBNX. I thought that King of the Hill would be leaving syndication this fall.

King of the hill like the simpsons are library content from fox.

Too bad the simpsons, american dad ,the cleveland show, and futurerama could not join KOTH. Strange the only fox cartoon to be picked up is one that started in 1996.

King of the Hill got treated like crap from Fox after it moved to Tuesdays in early '99 to join The PJs and the first incarnation of Family Guy. It stayed on for a long time after, but didn't have the success it had when it first went on in 1997.

Out of all of the fox's cartoons, king of the hill was the cleanest, and it never had to rely on crude vulgar humor like family guy, American dad.

Mike Judge (creator/lead voice actor on KotH) certainly went the crude route with his first big hit, "Beavis and Butthead", but reversed field with Hank Hill and the gang.

Shock humor is the calling card of Seth McFarlane, top man of "Family Guy", "American Dad" and "Cleveland Show".

They will have a good strong mix of some high rated dramas and sitcoms (Community, The Middle, and Raymond) but the sad part is if they change nothing it will not be in true HD. They have good picture on the HD feed of their channel. But everything airs in the 4:3 zone except for The Daily Buzz. Maybe this fall they will upgrade all of their programming to the true full screen HD like WOIO and WUAB did last fall.

Let's hope so. Maybe 55 saved a lot of money to afford more equipment for the HD conversion.

Still, 55 has come a long way from its pre-WB, pre-Fox Kids years. 1994 was a pivotal year for the station and they have the big CBS-Fox switch to thank!

I have seen the whole fall schedule and one thing I wonder is they have a full hour of 'Till Death at 4:30-5:30 and then the Office at 5:30? I think that WBNX should have Ray and Death at with Cops Reloaded and the Office at 5. Then at 6 should be a full hour of Community and then 11 a full hour of Rules with midnight and 12:30, and the 1am hour as scheduled. Than at 2 Ray and Death and then 3 am King of the Hill and 3:30 Are we there Yet? And finial 2 hours of Law and Order SVU to finish of the night from 4-6.
