According to an FCC filing on November 28, 2008, Jared Broadcasting Company of West Hampton (a wholly owned subsidiary of The Morey Organization) has agreed to sell WBON-FM to JVC Media Co (now JVC Broadcasting Corp) in a stock purchase valued at $1,750,000.

The owners of JVC Media Co are John Caracciolo (John C) and Victor Canales (Vic Latino).

The NYS Department of State also reports JVC Broadcasting Corp was registered on November 5, 2008 with offices located in Ronkonkoma.

Interesting that John C is no longer shown as co-publisher of Long Island Press.
 
congrats to Vic and John! Radio guys that own radio stations! Maybe better things are coming in 2009 for our industry. Lets hope so.
