WBOS Audio

Has anyone else noticed the odd, muffled-like sound chain that's been on 92.9 WBOS the past few days? Hasn't anyone at the station noticed this? For a station already toward the bottom of the ratings pack, I don't think that an unlistenable audio chain is the best thing.

I think I noticed it beginning on Friday. It sounds like a processing problem. Sounds like a graphic equalizer with the upper midrange frequencies completely cut down. I've gotten that same sound by doing that with the equalizer on my car stereo.

The bass, lower midrange, and very highest treble frequencies are there, but the mid to upper midrange is squashed. It makes the station sound like it's all coming through a toilet paper roll.

Sounds like it was fixed sometime between Monday morning and afternoon.
