Why wouldn't national sponsors want to be on Boston's successful country station other than their cozy relationship with iHeart under which listenership apparently is not a major factor?

They're buying two different things. Those national sponsors who specifically want to reach KLB's audience likely buy both. No law that says advertisers have to pick one or the other. They probably get a better deal on the Bull. My rule of thumb is when you can't sell ratings (because they're not good) you sell something else that makes up for bad ratings. iHeart has a huge digital presence.

I am kind of curious, even though this is both off-topic, and I kind of already know the answer. Since Phoenix Media Sold WFNX to iHeartRadio, has there been an overall listener or share increase? While I know this is an apples to oranges comparison, I am just wandering is all.
 
I don't know how it does in the ratings, but boy is this a train wreck of a show. It's really intolerable to have a hyena yipping at full volume in your ears every 2 minutes. I don't know who it is that has that horrendous laugh, but they really need to scale that back!
Eaxct reaaon why I don't listen. I hated it when Baltazar used to do that on WJMN back in the 90s. The guy on Dave and Chuck is 10 times worse.
