WBOW-FM

And Artistic thought it was good enough for Lafayette too

Actually those were the fall numbers where we took it on the chin. Not trying to be ticky tacky, but yeah we blew that book.
Spring numbers are released thursday I believe for Terre Haute. We'll see how Crossroads and everyone else did then. Crossroads (in my very biased opinion) will be up on the FM's, HI-99 will be HI-99, Mix FM I think will do well, Win 98 will be pretty good... the Valley could be a bit of a sleeper going either way. The River will hold its grip on rock listenership.
The lesser known Solutions Broadcast ratings (kind of like Eastlan) actually had WBOW and WAXI top 5 in the market for the ratings period ending in June. It went WTHI, WMGI, WBOW, WINH, WAXI if I remember right. And that is Persons 25-54 M-F 6a-Mid. And those numbers are published and available for anyone to see.
And by the way, on a personal note to everyone that called or e-mailed me since I left. Thanks for the encouragement and well wishes. And yes I did get that cat scan and MRI, even went to a psychologist and none of them found anything out of the ordinary. If you don't know what I'm talking about look at the thread titled WAZY gets NEW PD.

Have a great day everyone!

Chris, you did a fantastic job with the properties in Terre Haute, no doubt about it. Wish you all the best at the new gig, and maybe you can keep WAZY afloat. I was looking at the Solutions Broadcast ratings and it looks like WAZY is still growing in the coveted 25-54 demo, which is what they started doing last fall. I would have stuck with Crossroads just because the market is not as saturated and they are a much more stabalized company, but thats just me.

Thanks quack. We all put a lot of hard work in to the stations in TH and while everyone might not like what we did... we had fun and made some money.
As for sticking around... I would have liked to, and offered to... I even continued on as a music and imaging consultant for BOW to get them through the book, but things just weren't working out favorably for me to stay very long term.
Besides I like projects.... and I found me one! And by the way now that I am actually starting to get out and about a bit... if you're around Lafayette let's grab a drink or dinner.

Credit is due to you, really TH was a great notch in your career. Emmis is always gonna be king in that market just because of the mass amounts of money and cash they have and the assets they can offer their stations. I honestly dont know enough about Midwest to give my opinion.

WAZY has some heritage calls on it, built by the father of Top 40 radio Todd Storz himself. Hopefully you can help keep a tradition alive. Hopefully the company will be better to you than the last umpteen PD's they had in eight years.

I live just down the road near Covington, so we should do that for sure!
