WBPH channel 60?

Also during my chanel surfing tonight, I ran into WPBH channel 60 running on Comcast's cable channel 51, which used to run school district stuff along with 52. Is this WBPH channel 60 an indy? If so, where is it coming from? I notice a lot of religious programming on there.

WBPH is an all religious station licensed to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley.

They are actually FamilyNet affiliated:

WBPH does carry some non-religious programming like Lafayette sports programming, and infomercials that's not from the FamilyNet network. And on FamilyNet, some of FamilyNet's programming, though targetting Christians, aren't so overtly Christian. Shows like "Your Health" (an alternative health type show) aren't about God or Jesus or pay for pray donations, like lot of TBN's programming. Unfortunately, WBPH doesn't carry the classic TV shows that are on FamilyNet.

As for Allentown-Bethlehem television, WFMZ should move all its religious programming to neighbor WBPH; let WFMZ be secular 24x7.

Not gonna happen. Dick Dean is a christian and recently, IIRC, he was a chairman of the religious radio equivalent of the NAB. <P ID="signature">______________

Not only that, he wouldn't want to loose those dollars from Pat Robertson and the other evangelists on his station...
