Let me get things straight! "Classic Hits 92.9" sounds a lot better now. It plays nothing but rock & pop songs from the 60's through the 80's. No Motown, no classic R&B that you don't hear on that station. This is just rock & pop and it plays a lot of my favorites like Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Cyndi Lauper, the Beatls, Elton John, the Beach Boys, the Monkees and many others. WBPM does not play the Four Tops, the Temptations, the Supremes, Stevie Wonder and other Motown artists that WBPM does not play anymore. I should listen to WGNY for that kind of oldies.
Every Saturday night, I enjoyed the "Music Blimp" where they play a lot of classic 80's new wave and alternative rock songs that you don't hear like WDST and WPDH. And on Sunday's, they have the "Rockin' 80's" with Zander where they play Metallica, Bon Jovi, the Sex Pistols and others.
I guess that this station sounds better than WDPH. I guess that maybe someday, WBPM will soon to be #1 in the Dutchess book and it will beat WDPH in the ratings. Will the Spring book comes in, find out and see. :
